Hi guys, I'm wanting to get a new camera for my upcoming DLP and WDW trips, I have a Canon A2300, but I don't like it, he quality of picture is poor IMO.

Does anyone have any suggestions, under £300 ($450), i don't know anything about digital cameras, but I want something good, all of you guys have such nice bright clear pictures!

Hello hi!

It wasn't too long ago I was on the very same mission so hopefully I can help some with the matter The first thing about cameras though is not necessarily the camera itself but the person behind it, though I'm sure you already know that and from what I've seen your pictures look good considering the camera you have. I'd suggest investing in a DSLR camera, Canon EOS 600D. An absolutely wonderful camera and should be in your price range from what I can find. It pretty much has everything you need for your DLP and WDW adventures. It's not too heavy either, actually it's pretty light (especially if you just use a pancake lens) so bringing it along won't be a bother at all. It also films in HD which is great if you want that kinda stuff.

If you want I can write a bunch of other cameras as well but the Canon is the one I suggest the most because in my opinion it's really just the best in that price range. A Nikon person would probably beg to differ haha!

I'm a Canon-user too... Since october i've gone from a digital canon device (SX30IS) to a DSLR (70D)... I'd advice you to take a look at the different Canon models and the options you get with each model, for canon it's like the higher the number (like 1000D) the lower the price.... Prices go up the lower the number gets

I have used a variety of Canon DSLRs since December 2009 and would never use anything else now! You can get some good deals online that includes lenses etc.

*nods in agreement* I've been a Canon DSLR girl even longer, since 2006.

LOL! I forgot we had a Nikkon DLSR from 2011, I found it while tidying up the spare room last night, so I'm pretty chuffed, I can spend that money on WDW spending money now hehehe!

You copycat LOL (just kidding)... I usually always put it on multiframe and for character meets on P (program function).. For parade it depends on the light, but usually TV (to adjust shuttertime), i never photographed dreams so no help there
