Prince John is the nephew of King Richard of England. Prince John was given the task of overseeing the rule of the kingdom while King Richard was away. Sadly, Prince John was not the great hero and much loved figure like his uncle, and his reign was a villainous and ruthless one. Ultimately though he was set to fail, and when Robin Hood gathered the peasants together, it was their anger and loathing of Prince John that caused his downfall. Coupled with his cowardly, selfish and child-like nature, Prince John only has himself to blame for his failure.

In Disneyland Paris he is sometimes out during Halloween season, but that is becoming increasingly uncommon.
He can be found fairly regularly in Tokyo Disneyland, in World Bazaar.
