Anna is the youngest daughter of the King and Queen of Arendelle. Her parents were tragically killed when she was very young, leading to her older sister, Elsa, becoming queen several years later, still at a young age. Anna always felt shut out of Elsa's life, and couldn't understand why she could be so cold. A series of events at Elsa's coronation lead Anna to realise that Elsa was actually protecting her all these years from her magical, but unpredictable power. With the kingdom in danger of being frozen solid, Anna embarks on a quest to bring her sister home. Anna was turned to ice in her final efforts to save her sister and their kingdom, but her selfless actions broke the enchantment, releasing Arendelle from its eternal winter, and restoring Elsa's faith in herself and others once again.
