Wendy is the oldest of the three Darling children. She has two younger brothers, John and Michael. She loves to tell them stories, but also makes a good motherly figure. She loves to tell them tales of the amazing adventures had by the boy who never grew up, Peter Pan. Quite how Wendy knows Peter Pan is a mystery, and when he arrives at their window one night it is evident that they have never met in person. Nonetheless, Peter knows her - and her stories - and he wants her to become a mother to him and the Lost Boys. Flying off to Neverland, Peter and Wendy, and all the boys have many adventures trying to escape the clutches of the bumbling Captain Hook. In the end though, Wendy realises her responsibility to her younger siblings, and decides they should go home. Sailing off back to London aboard the glittering pirate ship, Wendy, John and Michael are delivered back to their parents, who also seem to think they have seen that ship somewhere once before, a long time ago...
