Hi all!
In this next part of our Grand Circle Tour of Disneyland Paris, we discover the whimsical world of Fantasyland.
The gateway to this magical land is through the magnificent Sleeping Beauty Castle. Home of Princess Aurora, and standing majestically above Disneyland Park, this icon is simply beautiful.
Down below the Castle, in the dungeons, lies a fearsome creature... The dragon awaits unsuspecting Guests and prisoners alike.
The upper level of the Castle features a stunning gallery of stained glass windows, tapestries and other items, telling the story of Princess Aurora - the Sleeping Beauty.
For all your shopping needs, check out the Castle's two boutiques - La Boutique du Château and Merlin l'Enchanteur.
In the Castle Courtyard, you can discover some more boutiques such as the wonderfully themed La Chaumière des Sept Nains, La La Confiserie des Trois Fées or Sir Mickey's Boutique.
For Disney Character dining with the Disney Princesses, eat at the splendid Auberge de Cendrillon.
Fantasyland offers a lot of different, magical attractions, so let us now take a look at what is on offer...
For those who want to take a spin, there is Dumbo the Flying Elephant, the Mad Hatter's Tea Cups or Le Carrousel de Lancelot.
For those who want something a bit more sinister, Snow White's Scary Adventures or the Voyages of Pinocchio are also on offer.
For a fantastical journey aboard a pirate ship to a magical realm above the clouds, head to Peter Pan's Flight, easily the most popular attraction in Fantasyland.
Being in the heart of Europe, many nations visit Disneyland Paris, and you'll soon discover that "it's a small world" after all...
You might want to also check out some storybook classics over at Casey Jr. - Le Petit Train du Cirque and Le Pays des Contes de Fées.
Lunch, dinner, drinks and snacks are available throughout Fantasyland at any number of fantastically themed restaurants (besides Auberge de Cendrillon that I mentioned above).
Toad Hall Restaurant
Pizzeria Bella Notte
March Hare Refreshments
The Old Mill
Fantasia Gelati
And finally Au Chalet de la Marionnette
For some last minute gift ideas why not stop at La Petite Maison des Jouets?
If you're feeling adventurous, you could step into Wonderland at Alice's Curious Labyrinth.
Fantasyland is home to a myriad of Disney Characters, and we have met innumerable Characters there over the years. Here are some of the more popular and more recent ones you may find...
Finally, you can meet the Disney Princesses at the new Princess Pavilion near "it's a small world".
The final land on our Grand Circle Tour, before we move onto the other Resort areas of Disneyland Paris, is Frontierland, so stay tuned for that one, coming in the next few days!
