Hi all!
Wow what a crazy April it has been for us! For those of you who have been following us on Facebook I am sure you have seen our updates there, but sadly when we travel it is harder to update the website.
But, we are back now and we have some updates to share with you!
First off you have to be sure to check out my Disneyland Paris 20th Anniversary Trip Report, full of AMAZING character pictures! At the end is a link to a second report, so check that too! (Keep reading to the bottom of this post to find out about more 20th additions to the site!)
While we were away we missed the birthdays of both Tokyo Disneyland and Disney's Animal Kingdom (which also share it's birthday with Earth Day).
I couldn't let those one pass us by completely, so here are some picture tributes to all those!
First up, Tokyo Disneyland!
Tokyo Disneyland opened on April 15th 1983, which makes it 29 years young this year!
Here's some pictures from our adventures there...
Ok, now it's Happy belated Birthday to Animal Kingdom, which turned 14 on April 22nd (opened 1998), which is also Earth Day (coincidence intended of course).
And finally, for Earth Day - which is also April 22nd, like DAK- Disney's Environmentality Ambassador Jiminy Cricket is here to ensure we do our bit to protect the Earth. Here's a picture of him, appropriately at the Conservation Station in Animal Kingdom.
Finally, be sure to check out our new dedicated Disneyland Paris 20th Anniversary page here on the site. We have added all the main events that we saw in person. There are THOUSANDS more pictures to come of course, but we have made a start at least!!
