Hello everyone,
This past weekend Jon and I were in Walt Disney World for a brief trip to see Epcot's Flower and Garden Festival and a few other things.
I thought I would share with you all some of the things we saw whilst there, including a full round-up of all the Flower and Garden topiaries, gardens and exhibits. This report is photo heavy, so be warned in case you have a slow connection.

Character Central is pleased to announce the launch of our brand new giveaway. The prize is a Frozen pin set from Disneyland Paris, featuring Anna, Elsa, Sven and Olaf!
The competition will open at midnight between Thursday 26th and Friday 27th February 2015 (00:00 Friday), and will end at at midnight between Sunday 8th and Monday 9th March 2015 (00:00 Monday).
The terms are as follows:
- This giveaway is based on entries into an online raffle system, via Facebook.
- You must reside within the 50 United States or Washington, D.C.
- You must meet the Facebook membership requirement of being at least 13 years of age.
- In order to be entered into the raffle, you must visit the Facebook pages for our three websites, Character Central, Tsum Tsum Central and Two Lost Boys Travel.
- To ensure your visits to those pages counts, you should go via the giveaway app tab on our Character Central Facebook page. This will show you your progress through the entry criteria.
- Points will be awarded each time you complete one of the criteria set out above. The more points you earn, the more entries you get into the raffle!
- There are three additional, optional entry values which you may chose to do in order to earn more points, which leads to more entries.
- The prize of one (1) Frozen pin set will be awarded randomly to two (2) separate people after the close of business on Monday 9th March 2015 (I.e. we have two sets to giveaway). The winners will be contacted by Character Central via Facebook.
- If the prizes remain uncollected for six (6) weeks, then the winners will no longer be eligible.

There has been a little confusion as to how you should enter the giveaway. Follow these four simple steps to ensure your entries register:
- Click the "giveaway" tab on our page.
- Click to sign in using Facebook.
- Under each option, chose "Visit us"
- Once you have visited the page, the greyed out "I visited!" button will change colour - click it! You entries will be submitted (you must click "I visited" after completing each visit to a page).

Disneyland Paris today released information regarding their annual St David's Day and St. Patrick's Day festivities. Find below the text from the release, which is the only official information we have as of right now.
Saint David's Day Welsh Festival, 7 March 2015
- Meet and Greet with your Disney Character Friends (in special Welsh costumes) - from 10.30am until 12.00pm, and 2.30pm until 3.15pm at Cottonwood Creek Ranch
- Welsh Pre-parade! - 5pm, parade route
- Aelwyd y Waun Ddyfal choir - 12.00pm, 1.00pm and 4.00pm at The Chaparral Theater. A Welsh voice choir will perform a repertoire of traditional and popular songs including a Disney Medley created in 2014 with special participation from the Urdd Welsh National Eisteddfod.
- Free Face Painting - from 10.30am until 6.30pm at Cottonwood Creek Ranch
- St David's Fireworks - 9.55pm (before Disney Dreams!)
- Disney Performing Arts OnStage programme: performances by welsh amateur groups - 11.40am, 12.40pm and 3.40pm at The Chaparral Theater

Today is the 65th anniversary of Walt Disney's masterpiece, Cinderella. Premiering in Boston in 1950, Cinderella is a classic fairytale of a girl with a dream, a Fairy Godmother, and a prince.

Today the Disney Parks Blog announced that the Disney Fantasy would be hosting a Star Wars Day during select sailings in the Western Caribbean, in early 2016.
Details, as per the Parks Blog and the DCL website, includes:
Star Wars Day at Sea will transport guests to a "galaxy" far, far away—in the Western Caribbean. The event features a full day of Star Wars celebrations, including:
- Deck party celebration
- Meet-and-greets with favorite Star Wars Characters
- Star Wars-themed activities for younglings of all ages
- Out-of-this-world food and beverage offerings
- Exclusive merchandise, and more!
The only at-sea screenings of Episode VII, at this event will thrill Padawans (Jedi in training) and Jedi Masters in every family. It is ... your destiny.
Sail Dates:
Star Wars Day at Sea will be available only aboard the Disney Fantasy on select Western Caribbean sailings, January through April in 2016. Star Wars Day at Sea will take place during cruises departing on the following dates:

Hello everyone,
Fourteen years ago today, the then-named Disney's California Adventure Park opened its doors for the first time. Since then, the park has undergone huge changes, eliminating entire lands and building new ones from scratch. It has probably undergone the largest transformation in the past 5 years alone than most parks have in their entire lifespans. Disney California Adventure, as it is today, is a tribute to the unending dream of Walt Disney, to keep moving forward and to continue to bring joy to people all around the world.
Let's take a look back at some of our favourite moments from the park over the years.

Last night, at a special media event, the Disneyland Resort announced what to expect for the Disneyland Diamond Anniversary, which will all begin on May 22nd this year. The Disney Parks Blog provided all of the following information.
Sparkling Decor
As part of the celebration, the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland park and Carthay Circle Theatre in Disney California Adventure park will glisten and gleam, each with its own diamond medallion featuring the letter 'D.' The entire resort will sparkle with Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration décor and festive banners in shades of Disneyland blue. Also bearing the diamond anniversary theme, creative merchandise and food items will be designed to complement the celebration. We’ll have more to share on those special items soon.
"Disneyland Forever" Fireworks
"Disneyland Forever" shows just how magical the Magic Kingdom can be, in a sky-high celebration featuring sparkling pyrotechnics, immersive projections, and other effects that transform Disneyland park right before your eyes!
"Disneyland Forever" envelops you in an enthralling, breathtaking journey like never before, leveraging the largest installation of projection mapping technology in a Disney park and surprising special effects. Main Street, U.S.A., and several other Disneyland park locations become a magical canvas taking us into a world of dreams, from flying above the London skyline from Peter Pan to a dance with King Louie in The Jungle Book.
"Disneyland Forever" also features two original songs, the theme "Live the Magic" and the inspiring closing song "Kiss Goodnight," written by Disney Legend Richard Sherman.

The "Paint the Night" parade brings some of the most innovative floats, vibrant costumes, dazzling special effects, unforgettable music and energetic performances ever presented at Disneyland Resort. This new, state-of-the-art nighttime parade floods Main Street, U.S.A., with stunning color, fun surprises and more than 1.5 million brilliant LED lights.
Mickey Mouse uses his vivid imagination to harness the power of Tinker Bell’s pixie dust and “Paint the Night” in Disney dreams, bringing to light beloved characters and stories from Monsters, Inc., Cars, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Toy Story, Frozen and more.
