Today insdiethemagic.net reports that Vidia has started making appearances at Pixie Hollow in the Magic Kingdom!

Vidia is the bad tempered fairy from the successful Tinker Bell movie series.

Character Central would like to welcome her to Pixie Hollow, and look forward to meeting her soon!

So Jon and I continue to work on our trip pics, and are gradually getting them up on our Flickr sites (links below).

I have also been working on more articles to come, and promise I will be posting some soon! I am travelling the next two days though, so if they don't get posted before the weekend then please just check back later.

In other Disney news, Laughing Place reports that the Mystic Manor project is rumoured to be suffering monetary problems, and sounds like that, much to our sadness, it will be massively cut back.

The Disney Parks Blog today also announced more details on the new show that was mentioned a few weeks back. It replaces the current High School Musical shows that run in Disney's California Adventure Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios, and will feature songs from not just HSM, but also Camp Rock and StarStruck. The new show, titled "Disney Channel Rocks", will play at both Parks from this October.

Another update from our California trip for you all.

Last year we ate at the Stitch and friends Aloha Breakfast at the PCH Grill, at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. Overall a pleasant and enjoyable experience, with some fun characters and good food.

This year we were aware that the characters had been given some new outfits, and so we decided to head over there to check them out. The new experience is called Mickey and Friends Surfs Up Breakfast.

Another update for you from our trip to California for you! Enjoy.

This month on our trip to California we had the opportunity to see the brand new World of Color water spectacular at Disney’s California Adventure Park at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim.

The show has received an extremely good reception so far from the locals and has become an instant hit at the Resort.

We were advised by our good friend that the best option for the seeing the show is the dining package that is offered at Ariel’s Grotto, so we booked that for the Sunday evening.  [ Read More... ]

Here are some updates that I observed earlier this week whilst in Disneyland Resort California.

Cars Land is now becoming very visible as construction at the Disneyland Resort grows. From behind the Pacific Wharf area you can currently see large cranes and a massive scaffold covered structure. The construction of Cars Land will very soon force the closure of much of the Bountiful Valley Farm area permanently.

The Little Mermaid attraction at Paradise Pier also moves ever forward, with the massive show building now mostly up in framework. It will be very interesting to see how they deal with the crowds for this new attraction when it opens, and World of Color crowds all at the same time. People are going to be pretty annoyed if the attraction is pretty much useless after 6pm every night like much of the rest of Paradise Pier because of the World of Color show.  [ Read More... ]

As you are probably all aware, Jon and I just spent the last two weeks on our crazy world trip to California and Japan. The trip mostly consisted of going to the Disney Parks in Anaheim and Tokyo, but also had some other diversions thrown in for good measure.

Over the coming days I will be posting a number of articles relating to our trip(s) here on the blog. I have decided to do more than just the normal trip report this time as we covered so much, and as Tokyo was a brand new destination for us I have a lot to write about it!

There is so much to write about for this trip that I hardly know where to begin! We had and awesome time, albeit very tiring.

We are now BACK from our crazy two week trip to California and Tokyo! We had an amazing time, and are very tired.

Hi all! This is a live update from Los Angeles International Airport!
So we had an awesome few days at the Disneyland Resort in California and are now on our way to Tokyo Disneyland. We will be in the parks in approximately 26 hours from now. We will try to update via twitter, facebook and this blog when possible, so be sure to check later in the week for more updates.

When we return we shall of course have lots of information to share including trip reports, and will have course thousands of new pictures! We shall endeavor to add all new characters and locations to the site as soon as possible.

Hot off the press are some cool posters for the Halloween Season at Disneyland Paris. Following on from last months press release posters, as posted on the magicforum by user Donald-Duck-Malta, this week's were posted by dlrpexpress here, and have received quite a welcome from fans. Showing for the first time a very interesting pumpkin Mike Wazowki, and some of the other Disney Villains, including Dr. Facilier, who makes his debut at Disneyland Paris this Halloween.

Over the past couple of weeks since information has been being released about the Halloween Season, there has been some concern that Maleficent has been replaced this year at DLP by Facilier. Although slightly disappointing, I think that it is a welcome change, and although Maleficent truly is the best Disney Villain, showcasing new Characters in the parks is always a good thing. Dr. Facilier also brings a cavalcade of other new things to DLP this autumn, starting with a brand new Halloween parade float. Although little details are known, it is thought to resemble a boat on the swamps of the Deep South. The float will now appear at the end of the Once Upon a Dream Parade, and not at the start as the Halloween floats normally do. It is also thought that Cruella will get her own car in the parade - maybe the one she used to use over at the Walt Disney Studios in previous years? Facilier will also feature in a brand new Halloween show on the hub, and also a meet 'n' greet character in Town Square (subject to change). With the return of some old favourites too, Halloween looks set to be awesome once again this year.

Staying with DLP, DLP.info has posted a couple more blog posts regarding Toy Story Playland. It is revealed that there will be a talking Rex scale model, much like the Buzz and Toy Soldier ones seen elsewhere in the land. As with the others he will make comments to passing guests, and will also provide some interactive commentary for the Slinky Dog Spin. In a number of the pictures it would appear a previously unmentioned retail space is also going in, albeit very small.

Toy Story Playland officially opens on the 17th August 2010 at Disneyland Paris. Be sure to check it out!

Finally, Jon and I are off from tomorrow on our grand adventures around the world, visiting both Disneyland Resort in California, and Tokyo Disney Resort! We shall try to make some blog posts while away and be rest assured there will be a lot to talk about when we return!
