Today (17th July) is the 59th anniversary of the grand opening of the original Disney theme park, Disneyland in Anaheim, California!

Happy Anniversary Peter Pan!

Today is the 59th anniversary of Walt Disney's masterpiece, Peter Pan.
Peter Pan premièred at the Roxy Theatre in New York City on this day in 1953, and is an adaptation of Sir J M Barrie's 1904 play.

In true Character Central tradition, we are celebrating this occasion by showcasing some our favourite shots from the Parks and Resorts over the years. We have had some wonderful, magical memories with the Peter Pan gang and hope to have many, many more!
