Hi all,

This week has seen Hong Kong Disneyland release more details about it's upcoming (and somewhat belated) 5th anniversary celebrations. The main part of the anniversary is the début of a brand new parade, called Flights of Fantasy. Characters in the parade will include the beloved classics, as well as newer and popular stars such as Stitch. Tinker Bell will also be making her meet 'n' greet debut in a specially designed area, as well as being the inspiration for a new Castle overlay, which looks stunning. So check it all out now in this official video!

Over in California, Disneyland Park has been running an interesting online vote for an upcoming event titled Character Fan Days. There have been a wide selection of characters on offer from the Seven Dwarves, Clarabelle and Horace to the Country Bears. Sadly people seem to be just voting for their favourite character, and not grasping that this is a unique opportunity to get some cool meet 'n' greets with some very rare characters - especially in Disneyland Resort where characters seem to be severely lacking anyway. We'll see what happens, and I'll keep you posted as always.

Finally I would like to just say Happy 81st Birthday to Roy E. Disney, who sadly passed away in December. Where ever Roy is in the universe, we wish him well, and hope that his many years of experience, infinite wisdom and guidance at the helm of the Walt Disney Company will continue to shine through in the creative forces now in charge, for many more years to come. Happy Birthday Roy.
