Chip 'n' Dale are the cheeky, mischievous duo who first appeared on 2nd April 1943, where they started their onscreen careers harassing poor Pluto, in Walt Disney's animated short, 'Private Pluto'.
Since then, Chip 'n' Dale have continued to be the thorn in the side to poor Pluto, as well as the perpetually harassed Donald Duck. They are always one step ahead though, and always seem to outwit their unwilling victims! When they aren't teasing Pluto or Donald, their vie for the affections of the adorable Clarice, a singer at the Acorn Club.
Chip 'n' Dale have had a long and varied career that has spanned over seven decades. One of the highlights of their careers was when they started up the Rescue Rangers, alongside their friends Gadget Hackwrench and Monterrey Jack, fighting the forces of evil, in particular the cunning Fat Cat.
Nowadays, Chip 'n' Dale star alongside their friends in newer shows such as Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, entertaining a whole new generation who will undoubtedly fall in love with their chirpy outlook and wicked laugh all over again.
At the Parks and Resorts
Chip and Dale feature regularly in many parades, shows and events at the Disney Parks and Resorts, including the main day parade in Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland and hopefully in the Magic Kingdom's new Festival of Fantasy parade. They appear in Celebrate the Season during Christmas at the Magic Kingdom, Minnie Oh! Minnie at Tokyo DisneySea and Adventures Away on Disney Cruise Line sailings, to name but a few.
You can visit Chip 'n' Dale's treehouse home in Toontown at both Disneyland in California and Tokyo Disneyland.
There is a ton of Chip 'n' Dale merchandise available, with some of the cutest items we've ever seen at Tokyo Disney Resort and Hong Kong Disneyland.
Meeting Chip 'n' Dale
Chip 'n' Dale can be found regularly at all the Disney Parks and Resorts worldwide, as well as onboard Disney Cruise Line ships, Castaway Cay and at Disney's Aulani. To list all their locations would take a while, since they appear nearly everywhere all the time! Having said that, a quick tip is that they are often found near the main entrances of the theme parks, on the Main Streets or equivalent.

Despite their naughty nature, Chip 'n' Dale are loyal friends, dedicated Rescue Rangers in times of trouble, and all round nutty chipmunks who simply like to have fun!
