The Disney Parks Blog just announced that Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and everybody's favourite snowman Olaf will be coming to Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party this year!
They have also confirmed that Elsa will feature at Cinderella Castle, which will as always be turned into an ice palace - but presumably replacing Cinderella and the Fairy Godmother.
At Disney's Hollywood Studios, the Frozen Sing-a-long which features Anna, Elsa and Kristoff will run through the holidays.
We can't wait to see Olaf join the Disney character family this Christmas season!
Although not holiday related, it's also been announced that Frozen will take over EPCOT's Maelstrom (Norway) attraction, and "will take our guests to Arendelle and immerse them in many of their favorite moments and music from the film." The Blog also confirmed that Anna and Elsa would greet guests at the Norway pavilion, too.
Dare I say it? The only park missing a Frozen addition will be Animal Kingdom!...
Are you excited to see all these additions and changes at Walt Disney World for the holidays and beyond?

Hello everyone,
Today, 5th September, is Pluto's 84th birthday! First appearing in the Mickey Mouse short "The Chain Gang" in 1930, Pluto was first seen tracking Mickey down after he escaped from prison! Since then though, Pluto has become Mickey's faithful companion and one of his best friends.
Let's celebrate in our usual Character Central way, with a cavalcade of photos from our adventures with Pluto over the years at the Disney Parks!
Happy 84th Birthday Pluto!

In case you missed it earlier, today is also Oswald the Lucky Rabbit's birthday! You can check out my dedicated Oswald post, here.

Hello everyone,
Today, 5th September, is the 87th anniversary of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit's debut in the United States.
As we all know, sadly, Oswald was lost by Disney for many years due to an unfortunate set of circumstances. However, he was returned to the Walt Disney Company in 2006 thanks to Bob Iger, and has since found his permanent home at Tokyo DisneySea's American Waterfront. In nine days time Oswald will finally come home to the US when he makes his first ever greeting debut at Walt Disney's original Disneyland Resort, on Buena Vista Street at Disney California Adventure. Buena Vista Street is the perfect place for Oswald, as it is a monumental tribute to the early days of Walt Disney's career and his arrival in Hollywood.
We can't wait to meet Oswald on Buena Vista Street, but we have met him in Tokyo, and so I want to share some of our pictures from our trip there in May (below). You can check out our dedicated Oswald the Lucky page that has many more pictures, here.
Happy Birthday Oswald!

Today, 4th September, is the 13th anniversary of the grand opening of Tokyo DisneySea at Tokyo Disney Resort in Japan.
Extravagant, incredibly detailed, beautifully themed and elaborately decorated, Tokyo DisneySea set a new bar in theme park design, becoming an instant hit with not just the Japanese, but world over. Last year alone, Tokyo DisneySea attracted over 14 million visitors, making it the 4th most visited theme park in the world.
Its seven themed ports offer an incredible array of attractions, stores, dining venues and experiences that are all amazing in their own individual ways. We have been fortunate enough to visit Tokyo DisneySea numerous times over the years, most recently in May of this year, which of course means we have taken many, many photos there!
In my usual style, I want to share with you a selection of our photos from our various trips (below).
Happy 13th anniversary Tokyo DisneySea!

Hello everyone,
In part 1 of our grand circle tour of the world's Magic Kingdoms, we toured Main Street USA and World Bazaar.
In this second part we are going to adventure into the depths of Adventureland. For reasons that will become clear later, I'll also be including New Orleans Square in this tour.
Before we begin, I just want to clarify the usage of certain names in this article. Some of you may dislike the fact I refer to each park by its location, but please bear in mind that when referring to “Disneyland”, there are actually four parks that carry that name in one way or another, and while I could type “Tokyo Disneyland”, for example, each time, it would be very time consuming. So, to avoid confusion, for the most part I will simply refer to each park by their physical location, to avoid any confusion (for example, Paris, for Disneyland Paris).
Throughout this tour you will also discover that not everywhere has a comparable experience in the other Magic Kingdom style parks, but in fact sometimes lie in other parks. Although we are comparing Adventureland overall, you will find that I throw in other parks too, where necessary, in order to show the comparable experiences.
There are many, many photos in this article, so be warned, it might take a few minutes to fully load!   [ Read More... ] |

Hello everyone,
Welcome to part 2 of this new mini-series here on the blog, focussing on character wardrobes from the Disney Parks and Resorts around the world.
The Disney Characters are the best dressed celebrities in the world, with an outfit for literally any occasion! Today I wanted to share with you some of the sassy Daisy Duck's collection. Part 1 was for Minnie Mouse, which you can see here.
Let's start with California, where Daisy visits guests at the PCH Grill for breakfast, wearing her bright pink floral dress.
In Florida she becomes Madame Daisy Fortuna in her gorgeous fortune teller's outfit for Pete's Silly Sideshow at the Magic Kingdom.
At Disneyland Paris she greets guests every day at the Walt Disney Studios, dressed ready to pose for the cameras on the red carpet.
At Hong Kong Disneyland's Enchanted Garden, Daisy takes on a more humble role, with her cute apron tied around her, helping the chefs at this delightful restaurant.
With exquisite boutiques and a quaint harbour, Mediterranean Harbor at Tokyo DisneySea is a glamourous place to shop, giving Daisy the perfect opportunity to wear the latest fashions.
When you sail aboard Disney Cruise Line, be sure to check your itinerary with the ocean's most glamourous cruise director, Daisy Duck!
Which one is your favourite?
