Hi all,

Yesterday saw the last day of operation for Mickey’s Toontown Faire at the Magic Kingdom in Florida. This went on to have an affect on character appearances today.

We heard from our contacts that the characters were seen off in true Disney style with hundreds of Guests packing into the small area right at the back by the train station, standing to watch as Mickey and the gang all boarded the train and left Toontown forever! It was quite a fitting farewell for the Cast and Guests alike. As soon as I find any videos of this I’ll be sure to post them here (our friends on Facebook had some, but I cannot repost those here).

As a result of the eviction of Mickey, Minnie, the Princesses and Fairies, they have been turning up in some random places today as their new homes are finalised.

Mickey and Minnie have been reported to be showing up all throughout today in various parts of the Magic Kingdom, including in Frontierland (near Splash Mountain) in Western gear, and Liberty Square (next to Hall of Presidents) in Patriot dress!

The Fairies have been seen over next to Innoventions in Epcot, and are reported to be moving to a new location near Mouse Gear from tomorrow.

Finally, we will be in Disneyland Paris from next Sunday for five days. We will be of course checking out and reporting on all the latest characters movements and also the major construction that has currently engulfed the Castle and the entire area to the right of it all the way up to “it’s a small world”.
