Hi all,

Let's start this report with some news from Disneyland Paris.

Our friends at Characters Photos Blog have continued to update their site the last couple of days with all the latest Character appearances at Disneyland Paris Halloween Season. Those worthy of noting include Dr. Faciler, Maleficent and the Snow Witch among some of the Villains been appearing at Phantom Manor, and the Fairy Godmother in Fantasyland. The All Star Express has also been featuring Halloween Characters aboard it. The new show at the Castle looks really awesome, with some neat looking Facilier-themed and Jafar-themed performers, along with all the other Villains and Minnie Mouse. The parade's Halloween addition, Dreams of Trick or Treat also debuted it's new floats. The Dr. Facilier swamp boat is incredibly awesome and makes a welcome change from the old "pain bucket" float from previous years (not that there was anything wrong with it, but change is good!). Cruella also has a new car, and the Pumpkin People have new props. There are also new Halloween pirates who perform in front of the new boat. Why pirates I hear you ask? Well non other than Jack Sparrow is now also in the parade, aboard Dr. Facilier's new boat! Vimeo user Filipv has a neat video montage of all the Characters at DLP Halloween this year which I enjoyed watching.

Characters Photos Blog also revealed on Facebook yesterday that they heard that Star Wars Characters will be returning VERY soon to Discoveryland! Those rumoured to greet their fans are Darth Vader, a Stormtrooper and Chewbacca! More news on that as it comes.

Moving over to Tokyo Disney Resort now, we have a small piece of information regarding Lost River Delta characters. It was reported by Stitch Kingdom that Mickey and his friends will be getting a new meet 'n' greet trail area, similar to that at Animal Kingdom. Their outfits will remain as the current explorer ones. The current Mexican style Mickey that meets at the Greeting Dock will be removed and Donald, who currently roams, will move in there. Changes expected to begin April 23rd next year.

Hopping across the ocean to Florida we have some Halloween Party updates. The Unofficial Disney Character Hunting Guide has a good pictorial blog of all the characters currently meeting at the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Parties in the Magic Kingdom. Nothing extraordinary, but some interesting points to note include the alternating Mickey and Minnie outfits, the addition of the Snow Witch and Facilier this year, and the new Tomorrowland Dance Party with different characters and costumes than they were before.

Staying in the US, but moving to California, our good friend Loren has been attending Disneyland's Halloween festivities. Characters that have been appearing include a lot of the Villains not normally seen on the West Coast (which is pretty much all of them!), and the Fab 5 and Friends in the Halloween outfits. At the new Mickey's Halloween Party, the standard fare of characters were out, with a couple of exceptions - Hades and Maleficent! Maleficent is not all too rare for Paris or Florida at Halloween, but in California she is unheard of. As for Hades, he is extremely rare the world over and so California have been lucky this year! Finally, yesterday I added a couple of new things to the site. I discovered that we had pictures of two Citizens of Hollywood that were not on the site, so welcome to Honey Darling and Dorma Nesmond. I also added Cinderella's Holiday Wish, which is the Castle lighting show from the Magic Kingdom. Why this was not already on the site I'm not sure!
