Hi all, This week saw the launch of a brand new show at Disney's California Adventure Park, Disney Dance Crew. The show replaces the now closed Drawn to the Magic. The show, performed at the Hollywood Pictures Backlot Stage, involves Mickey Mouse and some of his performer friends getting hip with the latest moves in a seven minute production that is energetic and loud. Hi all, So last month our dear friend Loren who lives in Los Angeles made a trip across the country to Walt Disney World. It was his first visit since 1998, and of course many, many things have changed in twelve years. I asked him if he would be so kind as to write a trip report for the site, and he obliged. It has turned out to be quite long though (much like my Tokyo one from the summer!) and so I have broken it up into sections. Hi all, In the last few days Rapunzel and Flynn have started meeting in the US Parks. Mr. DAPS posted some neat pictures of the meet 'n' greet area in Fantasyland that used to be Geppetto's Candy Shoppe. In Florida they have been meeting randomly in EPCOT until their new "play and greet" area is finished in the Magic Kingdom. Stitch Kingdom has some good photos here. The pair are due to start meets in Paris at the start of November, so be rest assured we'll be covering that one! [ Read More... ] |

Hi all, So after a slow start to the week with Character news I finally have some small pieces of information to share with you. Duffy the Disney Bear began meeting today in EPCOT and California Adventure. Attractions Magazine has posted some pictures to their Twitter showing the location of Duffy's gazebo in EPCOT, and him in his new outfit. [ Read More... ] |

Hi all, So today sees the debut of a number of new character happenings at Disney's Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort. Minnie, Chip, Dale, Donald, Daisy, Pluto and Goofy all have got brand new outfits and meeting locations around the Hat. New starry backdrops have been installed, and the characters have finally been given themed Studios outfits after years of neglect. Hi all, After a slow week with character news, I have some small updates for you. Starting with Hollywood Studios at WDW, according to Studios Central the "new" parade that we announced here on the blog recently, has a name! The PIXAR Pals Cavalcade will use music mixed from the PIXAR Play Parade at California Adventure, and debuts on January 16th 2011. Block Party Bash ends on January 1st, and it is expected that most of the current floats will be recycled. [ Read More... ] |
