Hi folks!
Yesterday saw the official start of the summer season at Disneyland Paris and so I thought we should take a look at what character experiences are on offer.
The Magical Moment’s Festival is in full swing, and the centrepiece of the celebration is the Hub show, Mickey’s Magical Celebration. Join Mickey as he wishes to become a magician. Joined by his other magical friends the Genie, Fairy Godmother and Merlin, they conjure up a dream full of enchantment complete with Disney Princes and Princesses.
As night falls, and just for the summer season you can see all the beloved Disney characters in FantIllusion, the spectacular cavalcade of light and colour.
See Mickey, Minnie, the Fairies and even the villains in this must see parade.
Also on the must see list is the stunning acrobatic and musical show, The Tarzan Encounter at the Chaparral Theater in Frontierland. Starring Tarzan, Jane, Terk and all their monkey friends, you’ll have a swinging good time!
Why not join Peter Pan and his friends as they have fun scaring the bumbling Captain Hook, over near his ship in Adventureland? Following the Leader with Peter Pan is another new daily show for this year's festival.
Several times per day why not get your dancing shoes on and take to the streets of Disneyland Park with the Disney Dance Express!
Minnie, Daisy and their friends try to find their perfect moves – but Donald is having trouble finding his groove – can you help?
The Magical Moments Festival has also inspired many more of the Disney Characters to make appearances around the park this year, and the summer is the best time to see them. With longer hours, being warmer and lighter evenings, why not spend some time catching up with the Princesses (including Rapunzel) and the Wonderland gang in Fantasyland, Aladdin, the Jungle Book and Lion King characters in Adventureland and the Star Wars characters in Discoveryland?
And of course, Mickey and Pooh are as always still on Main Street to greet guests.
On top of that, other random characters meet around the park. From Friar Tuck, to Discoveryland Chip and Dale, there are always random friends to have fun with! The best places to check are Cottonwood Creek near Cowboy Cookout, the gates by “it’s a small world”, and near Colonel Hathi’s in Adventureland.
Finally, the beautiful day parade continues to grace the streets of Disneyland Park. With no less than 46 characters it is not to be missed.
So what are you waiting for? Let the magic begin!
