Today is the 15th of December, and so it's time to open the next digital door on our Christmas Disney Character advent calendar!

It is the turn today of the Nutcracker, seen here with Helga, a German storyteller from Epcot's Holidays Around the World.

Throughout the festive season at Epcot, each World Showcase country hosts it's own storytelling based around that country's traditions and customs.

So here is today's image!

Today is the 14th of December which means that it's time to open door number 14 in our daily digital Christmas Disney Character advent calendar!

So today's image is of Kanga and Roo in the Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade at the Magic Kingdom in Florida.

During the Holiday Season, Guests can experience the magic and enchantment of a true fairytale Christmas at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parties held at the Magic Kingdom, held on select nights from November to a few days before Christmas itself. The parade is the main event of the night.

On Christmas week itself, the parade features daily for regular park Guests, and enables you to experience it in the warmer, and lighter daytime!

Much to our sadness, for 2010 the Pooh and Friends unit has been removed. Winnie, Tigger, Rabbit and Eeyore still walk along the ground, but Kanga and Roo, and Christopher Robin do not feature any more.

So in remembrance of Kanga and Roo, here is today’s advent image. May they return some day!

Today is the 13th of December, and so it is time to open the next digital window on our daily Christmas Disney Character advent calendar.

Featured today is Br'er Rabbit, seen here in his festive red shirt (he normally wears pink), and candy cane patterned scarf, in Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Normally known as the Jammin' Jungle Parade, Jingle Jungle adds a seasonal twist to the tribal/native and safari themed parade.

So here he is, Br'er Rabbit!

Today is the 12th of December which means it is time to open the 12th door on our digital Disney Character advent calendar!

Featured today is Belle, seen here in here Christmas jacket at the Magic Kingdom in Florida. She used to be found telling stories at the Fairytale Garden by the Castle, before she was evicted to make way for Rapunzel! Throughout the year the story would be the regular Beauty and the Beast tale, but at Christmas was the festive story from her direct to video release.

Belle can of course be found across all the Parks and Resorts, but no longer in her red Christmas outfit, sadly.

Today is the 11th of December, which means it it time to open our next digital door and see who is behind it today!

Today is the turn of Frosty the Snowman, featured here in the Magic Kingdom's festive show, Celebrate the Season.

Celebrate the Season runs during select nights at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and in the day time during the week of Christmas itself.

The show features the Fab 5 and friends all singing along to some traditional holiday favourites, and are joined by some special characters along the way, including Santa's reindeer and the Sugar Plum Fairy!

Today is the 9th of December, which means it is time to reveal who is behind door number 9 in our daily digital Christmas Disney Character advent calendar!

Featured today is Winnie the Pooh, seen here in the Christmas version of the Winnie the Pooh and Friends Too! show at Disneyland Paris. 

Starring along side his friends from the Hundred Acre Wood, they go on an expedition to deliver the forgotten letters to Santa.

So, here's Winnie in his festive wear ready for his adventures to find Santa!

Today is the 8th of December, which means it is time to reveal who is behind door number 8 in our daily digital Christmas Disney Character advent calendar!

So today Eeyore takes the spotlight, seen here in his winter scarf at Disney's Animal Kingdom in Florida.

Eeyore and his pals from the Hundred Acre Wood meet regularly on Discovery Island, and at Christmas wear their festive best to keep warm.

Although shy, and with a gloomy outlook on life, Eeyore is loveable and caring, and is always in need of a hug.
